Structural style:Beam columns of the frames and rooms are reinforced concrete. ?External wall consists of light building block and internal wall consist of the combination of lightgage steel joist and gypsum board.

項目座落于上海喜瑪拉雅中心的頂層，建筑由日本的世界著名設計大師磯崎新設計，是中國名噪一時的先鋒建筑，業(yè)主上海證大集團也是出名的熱愛設計的公司。
This project is on the top floor of Shanghai Hymalyas Center, advanced building in China, gaining considerable fame at that time and this center is designed by world-renowned architect Mr. Arata Isozaki. Shanghai Zendai Group also has enthusiasm for design.

設計之初，設計師向業(yè)主確立了“空中書院”的概念立意。由于空間并不高大，把營造一間具有靈秀空間意境的、深藏在現(xiàn)代高層大廈頂層的書院做為目標。
At the beginning of design, designer put forward the idea of an airy academy. Because of the narrow space, the designers want to create a delicate academy with artistic imagery hiding deeply into the top floor of the modern high-rise building.

此項目也被稱為“半建筑”，是因為建筑在建造時預先建了頂層的鋼筋混凝土梁柱框架，沒有建屋頂，而且墻體也僅有四面女兒墻的裝飾幕墻，并沒有保溫處理和劃分內(nèi)部空間的墻體。此次設計就是在建好的框架基礎上加蓋屋頂和內(nèi)部隔墻以完成建筑。但是，由于面積較大，開窗面積并不多，僅有兩個立面能開窗，如何采光、通風，如何營造空間趣味等等，都是本次設計的要求。雖說現(xiàn)代建筑都有設備可以采光、通風，但盡量利用自然條件卻是一種最為環(huán)保的選擇。
This project is also called "semi-building" because the reinforced concrete frame of the top floor has already been built when building the high-rise building but it does not has roof. There is only parapet wall decorating curtain wall without the walls for keeping warm and dividing the internal space. The designers just need to complete the roof and internal partition. However, the room area is large and the window area is small with only two windows. Therefore, the design is to solve the problems of lighting, ventilating, creating space enjoyment and so on. Although many modern buildings have facilities for lighting and ventilating, it is more environmentally friendly to make use of natural condition.
首先，根據(jù)空間的整體布局，在800多平方的面積里留出了4個天井內(nèi)院，使人無論走到哪一個空間都會看到天井。除了可以增加自然采光、通風的比例，還可以有些戶外活動，也使空間增加了靈動的趣味，在院落窗前感知陰、晴、雨、露，更不同于僅僅是豎向的玻璃幕墻。通過天井的分隔，營造了類似于中國傳統(tǒng)建筑“庭院深深深幾許”的院落意向。預留的構(gòu)造梁并不是很高，梁底僅有2700mm，完成吊頂、地面鋪裝后將會顯得很低。
?Firstly, as to the overall layout of the space, there are four patios in 800m2 and you can see patios everywhere. Patios make people can enjoy more natural light and wind and people also can take outdoor activities here and the recreation of this place is improved. People can enjoy the cloudy sky, sunny day, rain, dew before the courtyard's windows rather than vertical glass curtain wall.The courtyard is separated by patios for realizing the traditional building concept," deep courtyard". The reserved beam is not very high and the beam bottom is 2700mm and is very low after completing suspended ceiling and floor decoration.
如果把空間高度向梁的上部發(fā)展，那樣就會露出梁，梁的斷面最大的高度800mm，寬度600，體量會顯得非常大。經(jīng)過分析，設計師制定如下策略：空間的高度并非需要絕對大，如果在關(guān)鍵部位有一定高度，體現(xiàn)出空間的韻律、節(jié)奏才是最重要的。建筑屋面本身就需要一定的排水坡度，在構(gòu)造梁之上仍有很高的空間可以利用。于是，決定把大部分天花進行吊頂處理，僅在一些關(guān)鍵部位抬高了天花，抬高的重點空間室內(nèi)天花做成了雙坡屋頂?shù)男问健?/p>
If we enlarge the height of the space, the upper beams will be exposed. Maximum height of the section of beams is 800mm and width is 600. So the volume is very large. After analyzing, the designers have developed the following strategies: we do not absolutely require a large space. If key positions reach a certain height, this design will reflect the rhythm of space. That is very important. Building roof itself needs some drainage slope and there is still very high space on the top of the constructive beam which can be utilized.Thus, we decide to decorate most ceilings and only raise ceiling in the key position. Key indoor spaces have the ceiling with double-pitch roof.
不過，每個項目都有遺憾！這一項目最大的遺憾就是家具配置由于一些原因業(yè)主方并沒有讓設計師參與，最終，家具的風格并沒有達到一開始設計的要求，一定程度的影響了空間的靈秀氛圍。員工區(qū)的隔斷尤其過高，使該空間顯得有些沉悶。其次，天井的鋪裝也沒有按照設計的舊石板等采購材料，而是用所謂“仿舊”進行了替換，削弱了材料本身的韻味。綠植、雕塑小品等也沒按設計來搭配，使天井院稍感單調(diào)。
However, each project has dissatisfaction! Unfortunately, the largest dissatisfaction is about furniture in that the owner does not allow designers to participate in picking furniture. Ultimately, the style of furniture does not meet the requirements of the original design and to a certain extent, damages the atmosphere of the space. The atmosphere of the space seems a bit dull with so many staff compartment. What’s more, patios are not decorated with old slabstones instead of stones which are not really old. This will weaken the charm originated from the material itself. Plants, sculptures and others are also not arranged based on the design. So the patio courtyard is little dull.
